The Faculty of Language and Literature of UNSIQ received a visit from 4 students from Palacký University, Czech Republic, on Friday (03/11/2023). The visit was received by the Dean of UNSIQ’s Faculty of Language and Literature, Atinia Hidayah, S.S., M.Hum., accompanied by several lecturers and students.
Besides introducing themselves as Palacký University students, the visit was filled with discussions about international student exchange. The Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature also introduced the boarding school culture in UNSIQ.
During the visit, Palacký University students also had the opportunity to carry out activities with FBS UNSIQ students and learn how to draw batik together.
In addition, Palacký University students also had the opportunity to visit Sukerejo village, Mojotengah sub-district, accompanied by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature of UNSIQ, Ana Widiyanti, S.S., M.Hum., and several students to see and learn how to make traditional Wonosobo foods, such as tempeh and opak.
This activity is expected to introduce UNSIQ as a university that upholds pesantrenan values to the international community and provide opportunities for UNSIQ Faculty of Language and Literature students to learn and hone their English communication skills with foreign students.
